Fikseeritud koaksiaalsummuti on teatud tüüpi summutust tagavad elektroonilised komponendid, mida kasutatakse laialdaselt elektroonikaseadmetes, selle põhieesmärk on:
(1) reguleerida signaali ahelat;
(2) võrreldes gabariidiga saab seda kasutada mõõdetud võrgu sumbumise väärtuste lugemiseks;
(3) parandada impedantsi sobitamist.
